Al Shaheed park, located on the periphery of Kuwait city, narrates the story of a land, its history and culture. The park consists of 200,000 m2 of greenery, featuring beautiful botanical gardens, two museums - Thekra & the Habitat, a visitor center, a lake, walkways and jogging tracks, making it the largest urban park in Kuwait.

This newly opened memorial park is a beautiful and relaxing space though not really kid friendly. There are no playgrounds, children are not allowed on the grass, no bikes and no picnics allowed. But if you like to walk/jog or spend time in a beautiful setting, Al Shaheed is a great destination. They will also be hosting kid-friendly and family-friendly activities throughout the cooler months and hopefully expanding activities/options for kids. Lots of folks also have their family photo sessions here in order to capture part of the beauty of outdoors Kuwait.
